If you want a great vacation but don't want to worry about details - you go to the Galapagos Islands with Optiquatics

In addition to great diving, you will have the experience of Joe Wysocki from Optiquatics on board to guide your drysuit and photography experience. (Cameras and drysuits supplied on request). You will have the opportunity to see some fabulous wildlife on land ... blue and red footed boobies, land and marine iguanas, sea lions, giant tortoises, frigate birds and so much more! We will do several shore excursions to learn more about the islands and the critters that inhabit them.

We have chartered one of the best boats going to the islands, the Galapagos Aggressor II. This trip is so popular that folks have been clamoring for information so they can make their deposits. So, don't wait too long to reserve your space on this trip.

Vacation Extensions

So, seven nights on the Aggressor is just not enough for you? What with the mix of flora and fauna above the water that has fascinated photographers and biologists since the days of Darwin, we don't blame you! For this reason, we offer an “extension” to Kapawi Lodge after diving on the Galapagos Aggressor. To reach the Kapawi lodge, you fly from the city of Baltra (where the boat is) to the city of Quito.

Overnight in Quito at the Marriott Hotel and leave the next day for the Kapawi lodge which is a “rustic” village in the rain forests of Ecuador. We have put the trip together based on double occupancy. However, the lodge will provide single accommodations for a fee.

The Kapawi Lodge offers either a 3-night or a 7-night package. The package (hotels in Quito, airfare, lodge etc.) is $1600 for the 3-night package and $2400 for the 7-night package.

This extension will add 6-nights to your total trip time for the 3-night package and 10 nights for the 7-night package.
